Upgraded Instant Ramen
Share
Turn your favorite instant ramen into ramen shop-quality tonkotsu ramen. Instant ramen is a pantry staple, but it's often made with water and a flavor packet that can taste one-dimensional and overly salty. Swapping the water for bone broth transforms the dish entirely. Reclamation bone broth brings the depth, umami, and silky mouthfeel of traditional tonkotsu ramen simmered for hours. Add collagen, amino acids, and genuine flavor complexity in minutes, not hours.
Makes one serving.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a different bone broth?
Absolutely. While our Pasture-Raised Pork Bone Broth pairs perfectly with ramen's savory profile, our Grass-Fed Beef Bone Broth works wonderfully, too. Our Pasture-Raised Chicken Bone Broth creates a lighter, more delicate bowl. Experiment to find your preference.
Do I need to use the ramen seasoning packet?
Not at all. You can season it yourself with soy sauce, salt, garlic, and/or ginger. If you do use the ramen seasoning packet, we suggest starting with a small amount and tasting as you go. This gives you control and prevents the broth from becoming too salty or one-note.
How do I get a perfectly soft-boiled egg?
Crack the egg directly into the simmering broth and leave it untouched for 2-3 minutes. The gentle heat will cook the white while keeping the yolk creamy. If you prefer a firmer yolk, add another minute.
Can I meal prep this?
You can prepare components ahead - cook noodles separately, store toppings in containers, and reheat broth when ready. For best results, assemble the bowl fresh so noodles stay springy and the egg cooks perfectly in the hot broth.
What if I don't have fresh toppings on hand?
The beauty of this recipe is flexibility. Frozen greens work fine. Canned corn is perfectly acceptable. Even without toppings, bone broth, noodles, and some seasoning alone create a satisfying, restaurant-quality bowl.
