Bone Broth Matcha Latte: Creamy, Savory, and Unexpected

Bone Broth Matcha Latte: Creamy, Savory, and Unexpected

Sweet, earthy matcha meets a quietly savory backbone in this unexpected latte. Bone broth adds warmth and depth, while full-fat coconut milk and a touch of vanilla keep everything smooth and creamy. The result is grounding, gently energizing, and just unusual enough to feel special—an easy ritual for a slow afternoon.

Makes one 8-oz beverage.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Reclamation Grass-Fed Beef Bone Broth
  • ½ tsp high-quality matcha
  • 2 oz full-fat coconut milk (canned, with minimal ingredients)
  • Dash of vanilla extract (about ⅛ tsp or ~6 drops)
  • Raw honey or maple syrup, to taste

Method

  1. Warm the bone broth in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming, or microwave for 1–2 minutes.
  2. Sift the matcha into a mug using a fine strainer to prevent clumps.
  3. Pour just enough hot broth over the matcha to cover it, then whisk until smooth and vibrant.
  4. Add coconut milk, vanilla extract, and sweetener of choice. Use a handheld frother if available, or whisk vigorously until well combined and lightly foamy.
  5. Top up with the remaining broth. Sip slowly—creamy, earthy, and unlike a traditional matcha latte.
